A complete internal upgrade and fit out for a flat in Bermondsey overlooking the Thames, involving complete acoustic, fire and thermal upgrades, new M&E arrangements and bespoke interiors throughout.
The industrial character of the wharf structure is preserved through subtle moves. The existing floorboards that were uncovered during the strip out were lifted, split in half and relaid on top of new underfloor heating. New shutters were made from the same boards to provide privacy to the street-facing bedroom.
A new bathroom sits within the middle of the floor plan and is flanked by full-height pivot doors to offer the chance to fully connect the main bedroom and living spaces.
